How do you deal with a shop space that looks like an elongated, obtuse-angled triangle? And what if you want to put a very small product portfolio in the limelight on around 230 square meters? One possibility is to create clear product range and highlight zones. That is the basic idea behind the store design of Heitz’s new pocket shop in the Hohentwiel city, Singen.

In the front area, handbags, travel bags and school bags are presented on large wall shelves. A striking oak frame almost ceiling-high protrudes into the centre of the room and serves on the one hand as a stage for the current products – handbags and suitcases including the service station. On the other hand, the visitor is drawn further into the shop, where in the rear area there are mid-high central stands on which smaller bags hang. At the very back in the corner, trendy backpacks are presented on tree-like display poles.

A coherent concept that, thanks to the powdery shades of the shelves and the warm oak, combined with lots of light and dark walls and floors, creates a harmonious framework for the diverse range. With a stylish twinkle in the eye, the tapering floor plan is taken up by the diagonally grooved cash register cladding and its rear wall in the design.
